You will learn about the way of life and transformation of indigenous communities in Malaysia.The course on Indigenous Communities of Malaysia is coordinated by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UKM. The course introduces participants to selected topics based on continuity and change of culture of the indigenous communities in Malaysia.

  • Introduce you to the study of the unique cultures of indigenous communities in Malaysia and related issues

  • Enable you to understand the communities history and recent marginalisation and the process of cultural transformation

  • Allow you to experience at first hand and document visually various cultural elements of a specific indigenous communities

  • Enhance your understanding of various forces that confront the traditions and culture of the indigenous communities.
