Learning objectives
This course is designed to help learners build their language competence and communicative skills in order to function effectively in the social and academic contexts at the Foundation level.
What do I expect to learn?
The course focuses on building learners’ language skills and proficiency. This is done through the use of communicative tasks where essential language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are taught separately while grammar and vocabulary are taught in context. Topics of general and contemporary interest are used to encourage learners’ participation.
