The programme is designed and organised by the Faculty of Human Ecology, and focuses on human beings as the pillars of progress and development of a country. Participants will be exposed to the cultural diversity and multicultural identity of Malaysia.

Learning objectives

  • Participants will be able to get an overview of Malaysia's multiethnic society while exploring the different facets of social institutions in Malaysia.

  • The participants will also be able to experience local lifestyle and culture through activities which engage them with the local community.

What do I expect to learn?

Participants will be able to learn about Malaysia, explore and experience the diversity of cultures in Malaysia, and will gain a better understanding of Malaysia's diverse social structure.

Lectures, Site Visits, Field Trips/ Field Excursion, Study Tour, Discussions, Group Activities, Presentation, Outdoor Activities, Indoor Activities, Visits and interacting with local community, Educational Tours
