Why is this interesting for me?

To provide an opportunity for non-Malaysian law students to spend three weeks of their summer vacation in Malaysia at Taylor’s University and in a variety of legal and quasi legal organisations in Kuala Lumpur. This will enable them to see how the Malaysian legal system, its institutions and its professions function. - Students will gain an overview of the structure and operations of selected institutions of the Malaysian Legal System i.e. the Parliament, the Courts, the AG’s Chambers and Legal Profession. They will also have the opportunity to experience a short period of internship to enable them to appreciate working in and experiencing another culture and legal system (for the 3 weeks’ programme).

Learning objectives
