This course introduces students to the importance of identity, culture and communication in human lives. Issues related to identity, cultural and communication are important due to globalization where the world becomes borderless.

Understand issues related to identity in the local and global contexts.
Understand relationships and ties between the communication process and the various cultural elements systematically.
Understand the concept of the global mind through intercultural communication knowledge obtained from observing the various issues on contemporary culture and society.
Produce an intercultural project by applying the conceptual framework to the real world society.
What do I expect to learn?
To understand the concept of identity, able to distinguish the similarities and differences between culture, the challenges at the local and global levels, as well as improve their cultural interaction skills.
